MY UPDATE PAGE
March 6, 2006. Monday. I woke up at 8:30am and got up when Lydia arrived. She was late and got here at 9:10am. Before she arrived I got a call from Maurice. He wanted to come over to check me out. I made a last minute appointment to meet him at 9:45am. I was in the bath when Maurice arrive at 9:40am. I was in the bath when he arrived so I couldn't buzz him in. He managed to get in anyway. I was dressed by the time he came in. Lydia finished for the day and left.
Maurice and I chatted for a while and then he took my blood pressure and listened to my lungs. It seems that the lungs continue to diminish in the lower lobes but the uppers are still fine. Maurice left about 11am.
Maria Elena arrived at 12:45pm with lunch from the Chinese restaurant from 8th and Howard. She cleaned and washed clothes until 3pm. She left.
Stan arrived at 3:05pm and we went to do errands after we chatted for an hour. We finished up at 5pm at Palamino. I had told Matt that since we had finally finished filing all of the mail that I had collected over the year at Maitri and some mail the first few months here that I would take him to dinner to celebrate. I meet him at the restaurant at 5:15pm. I got a great booth that was perfect. I love to go there when the restaurant first opens and the sun goes down during the dinner. Matt and I had a nice dinner. I like hanging out with him. He doesn't rush me. We took our time. After dinner we just sat for probably a half hour and just enjoyed the time together. It was cool. Matt helped me to get my black bag to the curb. The Palomino had called a cab for me. The cab arrived and off I went. I arrived home about 7:30pm.
I got a call from Dad. He was just checking in. I also talked to Jose during the day. I ordered more meds from Tom in the morning. I ordered 6 more B tanks from Apria. The delivery guy arrived and took 3 trays of empty meds. Tom had also asked for a DVD so I put on in the bag for him.
Tim McAdams called and checked in. He is very supportive and I appreciate his encouragement.
The weather was sunny and cloudy most of the day but it was never raining while I was outside.
I coughed a lot today. I also am noticing I am wheezing more and more lately.
