MY UPDATE PAGE
March 7, 2006. Tuesday. I didn't sleep for the 3rd night in a row. I seem like I sleep for an hour or and hour and a half and then wake up. I don't feel anxious I just am not tired. I fall back asleep in a few minutes. I finally got up at 8:30am just before Lydia was due to arrive. Lydia arrived at 9:15am. She started the water and went down to put the placard in the car. When she got back we started the bath. We finished and she left at 10am.
Katrena arrive at 10am for an interview for IHSS worker. She was interested in cooking. I told her it might work out Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. We left it open. I told her I would call the IHSS social worker. She left at 11am.
Michael the massage therapist arrived at 11am. He did a foot massage for me. I fell asleep in the process. He quietly left. I woke up at 11:35am and he was gone. I took a few minutes to wake up and then called Jose. He was in the neighborhood. I invited him to come right over. He did. We hung out and then we went to leave and I found my keys were missing. We looked everywhere. I couldn't find them. Then we decided to change plans. Jose went to Burger King and got us both a Whooper combo. I called Hospice by the Bay. The only thing I could figure is that somehow they got misplaced. I last remembered them in my left front pocket when I used them last night after I had dinner with Matt. I always put them on my left front pocket. We moved the big blue chair. I was stressing. I turned on the oxygen and started sucking oxygen at a 4ltr/minutes. Jose left and I found the keys. They were in my back pocket. My only guess was that they fell out while I was in the bath and replaced in a different pocket. When I was sitting I didn't think to look in my back pocket. I called Hospice by the bay back. I got the operator then Ann. She told Mitzy to not contact Lydia. It was a big mess for nothing. I had also forgot in my panic that I was supposed to call Mitzy instead of Ann. Anyway it all got sorted out.
Jose came back with the lunch and we ate. He had to go. One of his relatives was in the hospital with surgery at 2:15pm. He left.
Next was Eric from Shanti Project. He arrived at 2:30pm on time for our intake appointment. He stayed and we did the whole intake process. He is trying to get me another volunteer to drive me for errands. I also asked him about a sitter when I get to the end. He said that that is within their areas of help and would look into it. He left and I played on line internet poker. I won again today. I finished this session with 161 million.
I talked to Howard Meehan and we set up a tentative appointment for Sunday to hang out.
I also talked to Simone. I invited her and Justin to my house for lunch on Friday to have some of my famous spaghetti. They said yes tentatively but would call me to confirm.
I also got a call for May at Apria. she was just checking on me. She wanted to know about the trip to Las Vegas. I asked her to go read the February 6,7, and 8th updates.
Josh from Apria dropped of 6 more B tanks for my O pod about 12:00pm.
Michael Orlando called and then dropped by about 5:45pm. We decided to have Indian food so I ordered Lamb curry from the delivery place nearby. We ate then I played poker again. When he left I was up again. I changed tables and played another session. I won again. I now have 163 million in play money.
I turned on the TV and put it on Law and Order. I began typing this update. I need to still take my meds for tonight.
Oh I also emailed Cheryl the grocery list for tomorrow as an Excel attachment.
I never left the house but it was a busy day. I feel like I need to get out for a while. I may try to get out for a walk tomorrow.
